Children's Education

Vacation Bible School - July 26 - 30

9AM - 12 noon

Join us as we spend time with Jesus’ story of the Parable of the Sower. Together we will learn about being stewards of the earth. ReNew is about hope, opportunity, and service. Our mission projects will be Jenn Wright’s HEAL the Children, Inc. and The Community Cupboard/Farmer’s Market program which enables people to purchase fresh food. In addition, we will be collecting food items for The Community Cupboard. NOTE: if you would like to contribute to our mission project you can send donations to the Church Office noting that it is for the VBS offering.

How can you help?

Volunteer to help in a classroom or with crafts – even if you are not available for the whole week we would love to have you join us!

Collect lids – bottle caps, Snapple lids, jelly jar lids

Donate plain light fabric (to make cloth napkins)

Donate wildflower seeds

Donate large plastic pots

Be a Monday morning greeter

Donate crushed stone/slate

Provide refreshments for teachers one morning.

Opportunities to share your gifts ……through Christian Education!

Over the next weeks and months, committees will be getting ready for activities this summer and fall. Many volunteers are needed! If you would be interested in considering being involved in one of the following areas, we would love to hear from you. Any questions can be directed to Tracy Weatherhogg (775.4301/ tracy@gracechurchvt.org ) or a member of the Children’s Ministries committee.

Vacation Bible School (mornings, July 26 - 30)

Volunteers are needed to teach ( curriculum provided !), assist in the classroom, help with snacks, crafts, music, mission and more!

Child Care

If you would be willing to help on a Sunday morning during worship to provide nurture and care for our youngest visitors to Grace or for special occasions, we would love to hear from you.

Summer Whole Church School Program

We are offering a broadly-graded summer whole church school program for children in preschool and older. Volunteers are needed throughout the summer.

Church School (Toddler – 8th grade)

Teachers are needed! Curriculum is provided and team teaching allows for flexibility in scheduling.
