Service for Wholeness - Sunday, March 21 at 4 PM

A Service for Wholeness is an opportunity for the community of faith to enact in worship its ministry as a healing community. Central to a Service for Wholeness is prayer, a time of waiting upon God in prayer. Thanksgiving for God’s promise of wholeness, intercession, and supplications are offered through spoken and silent prayer. Enacted prayer in the form of laying on of hands and anointing with oil is appropriate. Come and offer your prayers for others and the world. Come because you seek healing and wholeness in your own life. Make this service a part of your Lenten journey.

“Dining for Hunger” Potluck Dinners Return

All are invited to consider hosting or attending a Dining for Hunger Potluck dinner this fall. The idea is to have gatherings of people for a “dine in” experience where everyone brings a dish to share. The money that would have been spent on “dining out” is then collected and given to an organization working to relieve hunger in our community and world. Bring a dish to share and your financial contribution.
If you would be interested in hosting a “Dining for Hunger” dinner in your home, contact Tracy Weatherhogg (775.4301/ tracy@gracechurchvt.org ).
