Women’s Ministries Sewing Group
The next meeting of the Sewing Group will be on Tuesday, March 16 from 9 AM to 1 PM. We will break at 10:30 AM for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and a snack. Please come and join our group. We have “sew” much fun! For further information please contact Helen Willis (773.2115). The Sewing Group has been busy working on “Gifts of the Heart Kits” which will be sent out in May. They are in need of several items in order to complete our Hygiene Kits.
Church World Service Kits Needed!
Kit-making Event - Saturday, May 1 at 9 AM in Grace Church Fellowship Hall
The Mission and Service Committee is planning a CWS kit making event for Saturday, May 1. There is an urgent need for all types of kits at this time. Responding to the earthquake in Haiti, CWS emptied two warehouses of kits and was able to respond to the need. Replacements are needed. In the face of natural disasters, violence, or grinding poverty, Hygiene Kits can mean the difference between sickness and health for struggling families.
To assemble a Hygiene Kit you need:
One hand towel measuring approximately 16" x 28" (no fingertip or bath towels)
One washcloth
One wide-tooth comb
One nail clipper
One bar of soap (bath size in wrapper)
One toothbrush (in original packaging)
Six standard size Band-Aids®
Gallon-size Ziploc bags
Grace Church will be a gathering site for groups throughout the area to bring items to be used in kits. If you know of a group looking for a project, encourage them to collect needed items.
Knitting Anyone?
Our Knitting Klatsch will meet on Wednesday, March 17 at 9:30 AM. We have chosen several new projects to work on. The patterns will be available on Sundays on the table in the Narthex in a folder labeled "Knitting Klatsch Projects". Contact Marie Gosinski with any questions.

Yoga Classes

It is time to share the date for this wonderful opportunity to share with more than 1000 women of all ages from throughout New England. There will be powerful speakers, worship, singing, workshops, sharing and fellowship. Many women from Grace Church have attended previous celebrations in either Portland, Maine or Burlington, Vermont.
